- The Internet has some negative effects, such as illegal materials/piracy, computer viruses, uncredible information, and addiction
- However, the pros outweigh the cons
- The Internet was a friend to the U.S.
- We can access information in a couple of seconds, buy products quickly, and communicate with each other
- It only helped the Americans who had computers and used the Internet when it was made, but today it is much more available
- About 80% of America uses the Internet
